The Ross County Sheriff is investigating a home invasion robbery, that claimed to be a law enforcement action.
Sheriff Lavender reports his office took a complaint from a female that lives in the 12000 block of Pleasant Valley Road on Friday at approximately 10am.
The female stated that shortly before 3am, a white male kicked in the door of her residence and asked where the narcotics were. The female stated that the male suspect was holding a piece of paper and claimed that he was serving a warrant. The female said the she was never shown the piece of paper.
The female said the suspect searched the house and then took off in a dark colored Jeep Cherokee. The female said the suspect took approximately $900 in cash and some prescription drugs.
The suspect was described as being approximately 6 feet tall, slim build, blonde hair. The suspect was reported wearing dark pants, white shirt, and a black hat.
Sheriff Lavender wants to make the community aware that if there is any doubt ask for proper identification. If proper identification is not provided residents should call 911 immediately.
